Dead and gone to turquoise heaven, I tell you! Designed by the Hamptons design duo Jennifer Mabley and Austin Handler of <a href="http://www.mableyhandler.com/" target="_blank">Mabley Handler</a> for this year's <a href="http://hamptondesignershowhouse.com/" target="_blank">Hampton Designer Showhouse</a>, this dining room is turning out to be the talk of the house! (I'm sure many of you saw the feature on <a href="http://quintessenceblog.com/2012/07/2012-hampton-designer-showhouse-dining-room/" target="_blank">Quintessence</a>!) I'm just dying over all the shades of turquoise and blue here, so refreshing and fun! The room was inspired by the fabulous chevron fabric from <a href="http://www.jonathanadler.com/" target="_blank">Jonathan Adler's</a> new line for <a href="http://kravet.com/" target="_blank">Kravet</a> (Wabash fabric in Aquamarine), which ties everything together perfectly. Love the <a href="http://madelineweinrib.com/carpets-category/cotton.html#6907" target="_blank">Madeline Weinrib rug</a>, the aqua panels on the wall and ceiling painted <a href="http://www.prattandlambert.com/" target="_blank">Pratt & Lambert's</a> Azurean 22-5, and <a href="https://phillipjeffries.com/products/4829--juicy_jute_grasscloth_-_blueberry.html" target="_blank">Phillip Jeffries</a> Juicy Jute grasscloth wallpaper in Blueberry. How great does it look with the gorgeous blue candelabras from <a href="http://dunesandduchess.com/" target="_blank">Dunes and Duchess</a>?! Then there's the incredible drum shades, which were a collaboration between <a href="http://bonesimple.com/" target="_blank">Bone Simple Design</a> and <a href="http://www.michellehatchny.com/index2.php#/home/" target="_blank">Michelle Hatch</a>. Seriously, friends, SOOOO much to love here. Boy or girl, it was no question that Little Rock, Arkansas mom Sarah Brantley was going to paint her baby's nursery blue–it's her favorite color. She had the furniture bought ahead of time, and the FABULOUS bedskirt fabric from <a href="http://www.cynthiaeastfabrics.com/" target="_blank">Cynthia East Fabrics</a> inspired the rest. If she had a girl, she planned to bring out the pink in the crib skirt with accessories, and blue and green if they had a boy. So smart! I just love the subtle stripes on the walls, the special artwork and comfy glider...not to mention precious little Catherine Riley! Cristi and Jessi were responsible for all of the awesome photos for the popular <a href="http://www.houseofturquoise.com/2011/06/day-one-dream-home-tour.html" target="_blank">Dream Home Tour</a> from last year, and are back this year with yet another fabulous, fresh home from the Utah Valley Parade of Homes. Like last year's home, this one was designed by the talented Lindy Allen of <a href="http://www.4-chairs.com/" target="_blank">Four Chairs Furniture</a>. The builder was Jeremy Ackley of <a href="https://www.facebook.com/MillhavenHomes" target="_blank">Millhaven Homes</a>, who actually built the home for his family. (From the looks of it, it's one energetic, happy bunch!) I love the custom cabinetry all throughout the home...so I wasn't surprised to learn it was all done by <a href="http://www.benjaminblackweldercabinetry.com/" target="_blank">Benjamin Blackwelder</a>. Love his work! All in all, it's everything I love–vibrant color and fun pattern on a neutral background, eye-catching accessorizes and great furniture!
