I think it's safe to say she took her country-loving roots with her! I'd never have guessed the home was a new build with all the great vintage touches and thrifty finds she incorporated into the design! Take the sliding door in the kitchen...it came from the school she attended for 13 years. They bought it at a pre-tear-down auction for $8! Of course I love the custom-built island most, painted Valspar's Twilight Meadow. The main panels are actually crafted from old doors! And how about those cute stools–a major score from TJ Maxx! Linda owns a decor accessories shop in London, and Martin works in remodeling and restoration, so the talented duo decorated the home themselves using traditional techniques, natural materials and reclaimed furniture. The color palette (and awesome styling!) of the home feels so warm and inviting...not to mention uber-relaxing! I can't tell you how much I'm the turquoise window and cozy window seat!
