Reactivate it to view this content.</noscript></div></div></center><br /><br />A few weeks ago my mother-in-law Denise and two of her sisters escaped snowy Minnesota to spend a week together on <a href="http://www.houseofturquoise.com/2012/10/turquoise-tour-of-tybee-island.html" target="_blank">Tybee Island</a>, in a cute little <a href="http://mermaidcottages.com/" target="_blank">Mermaid Cottage</a> right on the beach!! I was super excited for them, having fulfilled my dream of visiting the quirky little island last fall, I knew they would have a blast! You guys know I'm such a fan of designer <a href="http://janecoslick.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Jane Coslick</a>, and the hard work she does preserving the little cottages on the island and turning them into fun getaways. Well she's also one of the nicest people ever! She was kind enough to give my family a tour of the island, including the inside of these fab cottages above that she's worked on. Denise couldn't help but appreciate all of the turquoise and took a ton of really great photos...and I just happen to have her camera and couldn't help but share them with you! We are headed on a "babymoon" and I couldn't be more excited! To get away from our yucky not-quite-spring weather will be great, but spending a week on the beach next to some turquoise water with the handsome daddy-to-be is going to be amazing! An oldie but goodie, the <a href="http://www.coastalliving.com/coastal/homes/ideahouses/article/0,15171,1837355,00.html">Coastal Living Idea Cottage</a> of 2008 located in picturesque Scarborough, Maine was designed by <a href="http://traceyrapisardidesign.com/Idea_House.php" target="_blank">Tracey Rapisardi</a>, one of my favorite beach-chic designers. I'm sure you've seen some of these photos taken by <a href="http://www.jeanallsopp.com/" target="_blank">Jean Allsopp</a>, but I was excited to find some new ones on Tracey's site. The playful elements (<i>love</i> all the stripes!), vintage touches, beachy hues and weathered coastal accents give the new home the character of a long-standing beach cottage. Then there's the door painted Valspar's "Shaded Cove"!
