The West Coast-meets-East Coast vibe is a true reflection of Steve and <a href="http://www.lynnehamontree.com/" target="_blank">Lynne Hamontree</a>, a California-raised surfer and his artist wife. (You can spot a lot of her amazing work throughout their home!) My favorite area of the home is the master bedroom and adjacent sitting room. The turquoise grasscloth wallcovering is to die for, especially in contrast to the crisp white shiplap! I'm really loving how open the rest of the house is too. And talk about one drool worthy kitchen! Located in Sweden, the 4-story home overlooking the sea was built in 1916, but the owner André Waldhör spent three years renovating the space. It's obvious he considered the history of the home, it has so much historical charm! And get this...all the furniture in the home was bought used or found in a landfill! I have to say though my favorite part is the <a href="http://www.justscandinavian.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?q=josef+frank&limit=all" target="_blank">Josef Frank</a> wallcoverings (Vårklockor and Eldblomma), and of course all the turquoise trim!
